First KBA 106/6 double coater, high productivity printing machine installed in Australia.
Percival Print will install the first KBA Rapida 106/6 printing machine in Australia bringing with it the only double coating system in Perth, allowing
for UV coating to be applied in conjunction with traditional matt, gloss or spot. This high productivity machine will be in production early 2010.
The medium format 40" press is perhaps the most highly prized among the
offset print industry and is capable of production speeds up to 18,000 sheets
per hour. The focus is on output, fast market-ready times and the higher productivity afforded by a larger sheet size of 740 mm x 1060 mm.
